ADHD
If your child’s has suspected or diagnosed diagnosis
ADHD (Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), then our team of therapists are on hand to help.
Children with ADHD can sometimes have trouble:
- Regulating their emotions and can often act impulsively or inappropriately
- Focusing their attention on a task leading to them becoming distracted; this can lead to issues at school where they can be considered by teachers as not performing and lead to issues with confidence
- Sitting still for long periods or fidgeting excessively
How RISE can help:
Our team of Therapists focus on helping to build the key skills children need to function independently at home and in school. We work with the child, caregivers and teachers to help:
- Develop better time management skills
- Build better organisational skills
- Improve Executive Function
- Practice social skills
- Practice regulation techniques
Our aim is to provide the tools for the child to become confident and secure in their abilities so that their diagnosis doesn’t hold them back but instead allows them to rise to their fullest potential.
