Background & Experience
Lee’s strong desire to do meaningful work and passion for working with children led her to pursue clinical studies in Occupational Therapy after initially working as a biomedical scientist in the field of developmental biology. Impressively Lee has a Doctorate in Biomedical Science! Based on her knowledge of neurobiology, she firmly believes in the power of early intervention to help children with learning and developmental needs to overcome any challenges and thrive.
Approach
Lee has experience working with children with varied needs in both clinic and school settings. She believes in creating a fun and motivating environment for the child because they learn best when they are engaged and enjoying the learning process. She also believes in working in close partnership with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to support the child because we are all important members of the team around the child.
