Background & Experience

Christelle graduated in Psychology in 2006 and proceeded to work in human resources in both Paris and London. After the birth of her first son, Christelle decided to go back to her first passion – children! Studying at the MCI London helped deepen her knowledge of child development and after graduating as a Montessori teacher in 2014 she taught children aged 3 to 6 years old as a Montessori teacher and Deputy head teacher in a bilingual French/English nursery. After relocating to Singapore in 2017, Christelle furthered her education studying parental guidance making her able to support families in their parenting journey. Since 2018, she has been offering individual counselling sessions for children and families in Singapore. She offers counselling in both English and French.

Approach

Christelle has an integrative approach, using play-based sessions to support children who have emotional and behavioural difficulties (anger management, oppositional behavior, tantrums), anxiety disorders, sleep issues, bullying issues and difficulties adjusting to a new culture and environment. She also supports mothers facing pre-natal and postpartum difficulties such as working on mother-baby attachment and parenting skills. In her sessions Christelle will see younger children (from birth) alongside their parents; for older children she will see them alone after an initial session with their parents present.

Personal

Christelle enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves playing with her sons, reading and cooking
