Background & Experience
Rafizah has almost a decade of experience in working with children, adolescents and their families. Early in her practice, Rafizah had the privilege of working in multi-disciplinary teams, including a youth rehabilitation centre, hospital and an early intervention centre. She cultivated a strong interest in neurodivergence (Autism, Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, learning disorders, Down’s Syndrome, etc) and has developed a deep understanding of the intricate manifestations of these conditions.
Rafizah conducts psychological testing for developmental delays, cognitive functioning, learning abilities and attention. She is trained in the specialist assessment of autism in toddlers, children and teenagers. She also provides support in behaviour management, toilet training, social skills and anxiety.
Rafizah is able to conduct therapy in English, Malay and Bahasa Indonesia.
Approach
Rafizah strives to positively impact families towards growth by empowering parents to connect with and raise resilient children. Rooted in science, Rafizah adopts an integrative style of therapy and is dedicated towards filling her toolbox with evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Pivotal Response Training (PRT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and systemic therapy.

Rafizah enjoys dance parties with her children, cycling along the beach, going on nature walks and reading in her free time
