Background & Experience
Cherry is a registered psychologist with the Singapore Psychological Society. She holds a Master’s degree in Educational and Developmental Psychology from Brisbane, Australia. With over 12 years of experience working with children with mild to severe developmental, social and emotional needs, she brings a depth of knowledge, clinical expertise, and compassion to her practice. Cherry is fluent in Mandarin.
Approach
Cherry is well-versed in a variety of assessments. She conducts diagnostic and school placement assessments to diagnose as well as inform school placement options and intervention for various neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Dyslexia).
With a keen interest in working with children with autism and ADHD, as well as anxiety-based difficulties such as selective mutism, Cherry has worked in public hospitals, preschools, special and mainstream schools, and in home settings to support the children effectively through a systemic and holistic approach.
Cherry strongly believes that every child is deserving of living their lives to the fullest potential, and is committed to working with the children and their caregivers. She has gained the trust and built excellent therapeutic alliance with her clients and families.
