Background & Experience
Since graduating as an Occupational Therapist in 2016 from the University of Derby, Chloe has worked in the UK and Singapore across a variety of settings including hospitals, clinics, homes and schools. Chloe embraces professional development and enjoys continuously advancing her skills and knowledge. Chloe has loved working with children ever since she worked as a part-time ballroom and latin dance teacher during her studies. She cemented this passion after spending a summer volunteering at The Friendship Village in Hanoi, Vietnam, a rehabilitation centre for children affected by agent orange. Here she ran both groups and one on one sessions focusing on promoting development, motor skills and self care.
Approach
Chloe believes children learn best through play and prioritises a fun approach to maximise motivation and help them reach their full potential.
A strength-based approach is at the core of Chloe’s therapy sessions. Working with any challenges or additional needs they may have Chloe aims to bring out the best in a child.
She recognises the importance of building strong partnerships with a child’s family, teaching staff and other professionals in order to provide a holistic approach.
Personal
In her free time Chloe enjoys cycling, scuba diving, and baking.
