Background & Experience
Ellice started her journey as an Occupational Therapist at a social service organisation serving one of the largest populations of children with physical and neuro-developmental needs, amid an early intervention setting. She has also worked with children at the National University Hospital, public and private preschools and private clinics working with children who have Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Down Syndrome, Dyspraxia, Global Developmental Delay and Sensory Processing Disorder. Ellice is passionate about helping children enhance their daily living skills by working to increase confidence in their own motor ability, sensory processing and perceptual skills.
Approach
Ellice looks forward to getting to know the families of the little ones she meets with an aim to bring out the best in every child. She aims to connect deeply with each individual through a dedicated approach. Ellice takes time to understand the child’s personality finding out their likes and dislikes so that she can provide them with optimal support and empathy. She brings her sunny disposition to each session, creating a nurturing and fun environment where the child feels safe to learn and try new skills while developing existing ones.
Personal
When she is not working Ellice spends her free time with her own young child and enjoys family baking sessions in the kitchen!
