Background & Experience
Lisa completed her Degree in Speech and hearing Therapy at Witwatersrand University, South Africa.
The majority of her work has been focused around paediatrics covering a range of developmental needs. Her passion for paediatrics started early on in her career when she worked in disadvantaged areas across South Africa. She then went on to work in Ireland and the United Kingdom where her work experience covered multiple settings, including private clinics, Early Intervention centres and mainstream and specialist schools.
Approach
Lisa strongly believes in enabling children with the fundamental skills to help them communicate. She always aims to make this process both fun and motivating for them. She believes in a collaborative approach to therapy, which seeks to upskill parents and caregivers to create successful outcomes. Lisa enjoys working in multi-disciplinary team settings, where the approach is focused on holistic treatment.
Personal
In her free time Lisa loves running and spending time outdoors with her family. She also enjoys travelling and exposing her children to new adventures across South East Asia.
